Quick Start

This guide walks you through the high‑level steps to start using Vitu APIs, end to end.

Create a Developer Account

Start by creating an account in the Vitu Developer Portal. Once registered, you’ll have access to credentials and sandbox tools.

Already have an account? Sign In

Get your Client Credentials

Navigate to Key Management to securely retrieve your provisioned:

  • Client ID
  • Client Secret

These credentials are required to authenticate with Vitu APIs.

Create an Application

Create an application in the Developer Portal by:

  • Linking your Client ID
  • Selecting the supported authentication strategy
  • Naming your application for easy identification
  • (Optional) Add team members to collaborate under the same account on a shared application

An application represents the software or service making API calls.

NOTE: Each application is limited to a single environment. Create separate applications for Sandbox, Stage, and Production as needed.

Subscribe to API Products

Once your application is created:

  • Select the Vitu API product(s) you want to use
Make Your First API Call

With credentials and subscriptions in place, you can interact with Vitu APIs directly within the Portal. Use the sandbox environment to:

  • Generate an access token
  • Call a sample endpoint
  • Review responses and errors in a risk‑free setting
Go Live!

When you’re ready, request stage or production credentials and base URLs to begin processing real transactions.
